Jan Klareborn 1961. Lived in Duesseldorf from ´79 to ´87. WDR- production with folk-jazzgroup Gandalin ( ´85 winner of “WDR- Stadtmusik”). moved to London in 1987, where he worked with Harry Beckett, Ricardo Santos a.o. and was involved in many record productions. Since 1990 back on the “european continent”, saxophonstudies at the “Amsterdam school of arts”.

activities since 1990:
many club- and festivalappearances: such as Muenster, Kopenhagen, Leeds, Frankfurt, EBU- Festival Karlsbad,Amsterdam international tours in the USA and europe. CD- productions with Das Boese Ding, Toytones, WDR Big Band Supernova a.o.

Winner Jazzmatch Dortmund ´94, Jazzpodiumsprice Niedersachsen ´98,2000. Westfalenjazz Price 2001.
Since 1992 regular work with leading european and american improvisers such as Wilbert de Joode, Han Buhrs, Michael Vatcher, Dean Brodrick, Frank Koellges, Alfred Spirli, Anna Homler, Scott Fields and others.

large variety of projects in the theaterworld, music for silent movies “Phantom of the opera”, “Modern Times”;literatureprojects on writers: Droste Hülshoff, Ernst Meister, Stanislaw Lem.
